New Year’s Eve.
For New Year’s, we hung out with friends before finishing off the night at a party at my sister Rosemary’s house.
Our friend has a tradition of eating pickled herrings, or pickled raw fish, at midnight. And after much recruiting, we got on board.
Even with a cracker, they were pretty nasty. We knew that our year couldn’t get any worse.
After the herring, we kissed. Because we still have our own traditions.
The next morning, we had to leave for our flight at 5:30 am. We’re not doing that again.
Happy New Year!
That’s all the posts for our holiday Utah trip! I wish we could have had pictures to post for our get togethers with college friends, and our Red Butte Cafe buddies, but maybe next time.
Thanks everybody for making our trip to Salt Lake City so much fun!
