The Petting Zoo.
So we’ve already been to the Magnolia Plantation before, but when I found out they had a petting zoo I had to go back. I just couldn’t imagine my life being complete without petting a deer.
So, without further ado, here is what you’ve always wanted: a series of pictures of me petting farm animals.
Turkeys in real life are a lot bigger than you would think. I kept chasing them, but they didn’t want to be touched by the crazy lady in the big sunglasses. Weird.
After seeing so many deer in the Utah mountains I really needed to pet one. Her coat was more rough than I thought it would be, but she was nice to let me pet her after I had meanly enticed her over to me by pretending to have food in my hands.
Baby bunnies are the cutest and cuddliest of all the animals at the petting zoo.
The Magnolia Plantation also has a historic house you can tour and a garden.
And here is a video of me petting the giant pig. I thought I was just posing for a picture, but Jon was actually filming me. Listen close and you can hear the pig snorting angrily at me. Jon apologizes for his poor videographer skills, he was just goofing around, and didn’t know I would want to put up here, but I thought it was funny!
