Folly Gras.
Jon gets home tomorrow and I’m really excited!! The to do list is going well, I just baked these. I accidentally poured the almond extract out too fast and ended up putting about double in, but it tastes great! I’d say I prefer almondy flavored chocolate chip cookies. Right?
Anyway. This post is really about Folly Gras. Not cookies. So here we go. They shut down the main street at Folly Beach and we all had a street party. There was supposed to be a parade, but we missed it. Apparently it was so small though that our friend accidentally walked in it! There was live music and we ended up just hanging out with our friends and people watching. There were some people there that were very into Mardi Gras.
We stood on the deck of Snapper Jack’s with our friends Samir, Caitlin, Sarah, and Ben.
