Spring Break Day 5. San Francisco!
Yay, more Spring Break road trip adventures! If you remember, I last posted about Alcatraz, and now I’m going to to tell you all about the city!
When we got off the Alcatraz ferry, we immediately started exploring the pier. They had a bunch of shops, and we stopped to have clam chowder with some San Francisco sour dough bread.
We saw so many kite stores on this trip! Maybe we should quit school and open up shop, yes? No?

After the pier, we took a trolley over to Nob Hill.
Some awesome shots I got from the Trolley.

Caught red-handed! After the Trolley I bought some Samoas.
The view from the top of Nob Hill.
Next, we walked through China Town.
After China town we decided to head back to the car, and drive to a few last sights before heading back to Rich and Jenny’s.
At Lombard Street.
We also drove through some famous neighborhoods. It was cool to see the differences between different parts of town. San Francisco is such a big city! (or every city seems big when you live in Charleston. haha)
Then, out of nowhere, I decided San Francisco wouldn’t be complete unless I we saw the Full House streets!
When we pulled on this street Jon surprised me by putting on the Full House theme song on his phone. I. cracked. up. To say the least.
And that was our day in San Francisco! I’d love to go back to see the museums, the parks, and go shopping. It seems like a place where you’d never run out of things to do!

Okay for real, that SAME lady was selling Girl Scout cookies in that same spot when I was there 2 weeks ago. She must have a stake on that spot. I bet it’s girl scout seller’s gold.
Too FUN! I swear we were at that pier at fisherman’s wharf the SAME day – that one sunny day, St. Patty’s day. Did you walk over to see the sea lions by the huge cool carosel? That was the best part. Or the donuts at one of those cute shops? We also probably played and stared at the same twirling kites with our little kiddos for an hour…I was also impressed at all the tulips by the ferry boats to Alcatraz. I wish we would’ve done alcatraz, but it may have been too hard with little ones. We drove down Lombard and it was so fun to have everyone looking at my sis-in-law and I. The cousins all thought it was the craziest ride ever, like one at Disneyland. Looks like you’re doing well and enjoying life. Keep up the good work blogging and traveling all over. You and Jon are a gorgeous couple and we love seeing your photos!
ps- I’m so jealous you saw the Full House house. That would’ve made my San Fran experience complete!
San Francisco is a fun city- Lombard street is so crazy! I bet that was fun to see the Full House street. Too funny.
