Cookies and Birthdays.
We had friends over for a double birthday party. Everybody brought a dish and we had fish tacos and lots of yummy side dishes out at our pool. All the girls sat at one table and all the boys sat at the other and talked and talked. We had dessert and games at home afterward.
We’re not in this picture, but meet Alan and Anna!
I recently made these M&Ms Chocolate Chip cookies.
I made them because Jon requested them, and Jon never asks me to make him anything. ever. Not even on his birthday. It was so fun to make something just for him for once. They ended up being pretty tasty, but how can they not with all that sugar and butter and chocolate? That’s actually the secret about baking. It’s always good because the ingredients mostly include sugar.
I just added the M&Ms into a chocolate chip recipe. Does anybody know how to make these without having the M&Ms melt?

Yum. Basically every time I read this page, I wish that we lived in Charleston. We may have to plan a short notice trip to visit you guys. Any chance JP will decide to practice in NY?
I don’t know how to fix your m & m prob, but I would be happy to eat them if melted chocolate isn’t your thing.
Delish. No clue on the m&m problem. The other night I read our cousin Karens blog about peanut butter cookies & since the recipe was so simple, I made myself some. I’m all about sweet treats.
I can’t fix the M&M’s either, but you could have them more in the center. Did you know that you can have perfectly round cookies by rolling them in the palm of your hand? That’s how jonathan made chocolate chip cookies. It’s tricky to make good cookies. Yours look yummy.
