Spring Break Day 6. The Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Day 6 was St. Patrick’s Day! Jenny did a whole themed breakfast for the holiday, and it was great ending to our stay with them.

We said good bye to the kids as they went to school. We were sad to miss Rich on this trip, as he was out of town on business. We’ll catch him next time.
Three hours later, we arrived at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
The sea otters were adorable! I wanted to steal one. or two.

Who can find the camouflaged fish? Hint: there are two.
Raaaaarrrrrrrrrr!!!
Jon loved the architecture. All the levels, angles, support beams, everything was his style.
This seaweed guy is a type of sea horse.
Sea horse exhibit! I wanted to steal them too.
These sea horses were tiny! That is Jon’s thumb in comparison.
I had my fortune read at a dollar machine all “BIG” style (the old Tom Hanks movie). It said to not judge people.
Then we bought a Reuben for St. Patrick’s Day.
We had a blast at the aquarium! The rest of the day we drove about 9 or so hours to San Diego! I’ll post the pictures after I post about all the fun we had this weekend!

You captured a photo of the American Avocet, which is a favorite waterbird of mine. They can’t help but attract attention with the black, white, and buff.
