Sunrise at Sullivans.
Last weekend we went to Sullivan’s Island early in the morning with some friends. Lately, we’ve been loving going out to the beach early* when the water is calm, and we don’t have to worry about sunburns. We had never been out to Sullivan’s before even though it is only fifteen minutes from our house! We usually just go to Folly Beach, but Sullivan’s was beautiful and definitely worth the “trip.”
We had to swim out to a sandbar to get by the ocean, and this is us on our way back with all of our stuff “Oregon trailing” it. It was a fun little beach morning hanging out in the water, chasing seagulls, playing tic-tac-toe in the sand (I won!), and relaxing in our beach chairs.
You guys, I also wanted to tell you I finished my first semester of OT today! Just six more semesters to go, and I’ll have my Master’s of Rehabilitative Science in Occupational Therapy! It feels so amazing to be done with anatomy (my biggest class this summer), and I’m even more excited that I’ll never have to be in another cadaver lab again! I have the next two weeks off, and I’m so ready to just hit the beach and do absolutely nothing. Here’s to the last few weeks of summer!
*Early means that we are getting to the beach somewhere between 6-8 am.
