Family Surfing and Kayaking.
Grant and Julie’s last morning we got some last minute beaching in.
Jon taught Cooper how to surf, and I decided to stay warm instead. Cooper ended up being a great student!
Then Jon took Sammie kayaking.
They kayaked right next to some friendly dolphins.
And then Grant and Julie had to fly home, and it was so sad. We had such a fun week together! I hate it when family leaves because then I remember that I live so far away from everyone.
My dad stayed an extra day, and we used up every second of it out at the beach house. We live just ten minutes away, but its a world of difference to actually be staying on the beach. It’s amazing to wake up and see the water right out your window.
We spent the rest of the weekend eating the last of the oysters, hanging out with dad, watching movies, and catching up on studying before we said our last goodbyes to dad.
