Dog Sitting.
This weekend Jon was supposed to go to Chicago to attend a research meeting. I had made plans with the girls, had babysitting and dog sitting all lined up, and had even brought home my HUGE pathophysiology book to get some good studying done. I was prepared, and so was Jon. He was packed, had his patient covered, and he was ready to come pick me up early from class to go to the airport when he realized the conference is next weekend! He printed out his ticket and at first thought “Oh no! I bought the ticket for the wrong weekend!” But then he looked up the conference and realized it’s next weekend. So funny!
So Jon came to girls night with me (worked out because I had another girl bring her husband), my babysitting job cancelled, and he was able to come to the beach with me and the dogs! Yay!
These cuties belong to an orthodontics resident at MUSC, and she lives right in Mira Vista with us so dog sitting was a total breeze! I loved going over and letting them jump all over me and giving them tons of love and attention. They were always so excited! The black dog is Gus, and the white one is Lola. Doesn’t Lola remind you of Falcor from the NeverEnding Story?

Hope you are having a good 3 day weekend! We are probably going to lay low the rest of the weekend, and get ahead on some studying.

Ha Ha one time I went to the airport an entire day early… ya it was awesome, better early than late right? We are going to Chicago next weekend too!! It will be freezing but still fun!! Miss y’all!
